Step 3.
If no air pressure is in the tank, start the vehicle engine and turn on the circuit
breaker CB1 and one power switch on the control panel.
CAUTION
The M157 Smoke Generator System draws its electrical power from the
batteries of the vehicle it is mounted on. The vehicle engine must be
running whenever the set is operational to prevent draining the batteries on
the vehicle.

Step 4.
The green air indicator light will come on when the tank has 63 psi of air
pressure. When this light comes on, turn off the power and circuit breaker CB1
switches; then turn off the vehicle engine.
