PART C: PERFORM OPERATOR MAINTENANCE ON THE FOG OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY
In addition to maintenance on the fog oil tank, the generator operator must also perform operator
maintenance on the fog oil pump assembly. This includes maintenance on the two strainer assemblies
and the cable and hoses.
1.
Strainer. Service each strainer (Figure 2-4) by following these procedures:
Step 1.
Using a suitable wrench remove the screw cap (1). Remove the strainer (2) from
the strainer assembly (3).
