Step 3.
Check for a short circuit in the fog oil pump cable.
a. Disconnect the cable assembly from connector 1J5 at the control panel assembly (Figure 4-
7).

b. Set circuit breaker CB1 and the power switch to the ON position.
c. Hold the fuel switch to the START position until the indicator lights; then release the fuel
switch and allow it to move to the RUN position.
d. Hold the engine switch to the START position until the indicator lights; then release the
engine switch and allow it to move to the RUN position.
e. Hold the fog oil switch to the START position.
(1) If circuit breaker CB1 stays in the ON position, the fog oil pump cable assembly has a
short circuit. Set all switches and circuit breaker CB1 to the OFF position; then reconnect the cable.
Notify organizational maintenance.
(2) If circuit breaker CB1 moves to the OFF position, the control panel has a short circuit.
Set all switches and circuit breaker CB1 to the OFF position; then reconnect the cable. Notify
organizational maintenance.
