Learning Event 2
CONDUCT TACTICAL MOVEMENT OF SMOKE PLATOON
The tactical movement begins with the platoon sergeant moving the smoke platoon across the starting point
(SP) at the designated time. During tactical movements, the platoon sergeant will direct all elements based on the
movement technique being used. Positioned near the rear of the platoon, the platoon sergeant will maintain
communications with the platoon leader and ensure straggler control.
