Step 4. Check the oil gage rod to insure that the engine is full of oil and
that the engine crankcase is filled.
Operate the valves to check for
smoothness of operation.
Step 5.
Lubricate the M12A1 immediately after performing test spraying.
NOTE
A used M12A1 PDDA is serviced in the same manner as a new one.
Examine used equipment for signs of wear, damage, or missing
parts. Correct deficiencies if authorized or notify maintenance
personnel.
