Fire Extinguisher
For safety, a fire extinguisher is furnished with the 50-GPM Pump. The fire extinguisher is a
monobromotriflouromethane type which is suitable for putting out all types of fires except fires
involving liquid oxygen generating equipment It is equipped with a disposable cylinder
containing the fire-extinguishing chemical (monobromotriflouromethane).
To operate the fire extinguisher, perform the following:
Break the seal by pulling the safety pin from the handle.
Point the horn toward the base of the flame.
Depress the trigger and direct the stream at the base of the flame. Move the stream back
and forth across the base of the flame.
WARNING
Avoid breathing the smoke generated by the fire and the fire-
extinguisher contents.
