Maintenance Request, DA Form 2407. This form, with continuation when required, is used to
request GS and DS support maintenance.
Table of Organizational Equipment (TOE) and Modified Table of Organizational Equipment
(MTOE). The TOE is a table which prescribes the normal wartime mission, organizational
structure, and personnel and equipment requirements for a military unit: it is the basis for an
authorization document, the MTOE. The TOE is not an authorization document.
The MTOE is a requirements/authorization document which prescribes the modification of a
basic TOE necessary to adapt it to the needs of a specific unit or type of unit.
Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA). The TDA is a requirements/authorization
document which prescribes the organizational structure, personnel, and equipment
authorizations, and requirements of a military unit to perform a specific mission for which there
is no appropriate TOE.
