Reassembling Gun.
Position the gun handle on the assembled ball valve so
that the handle is in line with the valve body as shown in A, figure 14 on
page 61.
Clean and dry the threads on the ends of the ball valve.
Reassemble the ball valve to make up the gun assembly by positioning the
ball valve on the adapter and screwing it on the upstream end of the ball
valve.
Connect the extension pipe and the appropriate nozzle to the ball
valve.
Tighten all connections just enough to prevent leakage at the
joints. Do not overtighten.
